How to Use Branded Visual Content to Tantalise your Audience

Use branded visual content to tantalise audience

Images are to prospective customers what ‘amuses bouches‘ are to diners.

Images are to prospective customers what ‘amuses bouches‘ are to diners.

Those delicious, bite-sized appetisers tantalise and tease: they give just a hint of the wonderful main course ahead.

Without images small businesses will struggle to draw attention to their brand online. They will therefore go unnoticed whilst the big brands grab attention.  However, savvy entrepreneurs realise that they can leverage the power of eye-catching images to entice prospective customers into discovering more about their products or services.

Just one powerful image is enough to pique the interest of a prospective buyer and give them a hint of what your business has to offer.

Awareness leads to interest leads to consideration, which hopefully leads to a purchase.

Images (whether they’re used on your blog, your business website or on social media posts) are crucial in creating awareness, which is why increasing numbers of businesses are making Instagram and Pinterest part of their online marketing strategies.

Humans are psychologically hard-wired to understand subtle messages from images in a very short space of time.  This suits our frenetic lifestyle: information can be digested in bite-sizes, via our mobiles, when we’re in between meetings, commuting to work or waiting for our lunch order to arrive.

Bite-Sized Business Tips

In previous weeks I’ve offered you some bite-sized blogging tips to help your business:-

➢   attract attention online

➢   captivate your target audience

➢   provide the right kind of content to keep prospective customers interested.

Why are Images crucial to Marketing?

Images (whether they’re used on your blog, your business website or on social media posts) are crucial and that’s why increasing numbers of businesses are making Instagram and Pinterest part of their online marketing strategies.

Take a look at my recent video, Visual Content with VaVaVoom!” to find out why.

What Kind of Images Should I Use?

When I talk about using ‘images’, I don’t have in mind any old stock photo.

I’m talking about an image which is carefully created to reflect the essence of a blog article or the spirit of a business.   Add some subtle business branding to the image and you have a winning business recipe.

And let me tell you now, you do NOT have to be a design expert in order to create your own images for business!  If you use the recommended web-based apps that I do, you will really surprise yourself at just how easy it is!
